Amazon’s Prime Day tech deals are here again. Yes, already. The economy is tough right now, and if you’re feeling this cost-of-living crisis, you probably don’t need that shiny new thing. But if you do need it, you certainly won’t want to pay full price. We put two pieces of research together for you: we track prices to make sure deals are actually deals and we only recommend stuff we believe is worth buying. Seriously: all the Prime Day tech deals you see here have been life-tested by the WIRED Reviews team in our own homes, often using our own families as guinea pigs.

Updated on October 7 at 6:30 am ET: Added some new tech deals and checked through the current products on sale.
The flagship Apple AirPods Pro 3 are its best wireless earbuds, and they're at the lowest price since June. Music sounds great, noise cancellation works well, and they offer excellent call quality. Apple added more ear tips for a better fit for small ears, new tools like heart rate sensing and live translation, and enhanced support for folks with hearing loss. If you use an iPhone, these are the wireless earbuds for you.
The Nothing Headphone (1) is one of our favorite pairs of over-ear headphones. With an attractive and distinctive design that combines a transparent look with tactile controls like a volume wheel and media control paddle, these headphones make a real statement. They also boast top-notch battery life. This is the best discount we’ve seen on them so far.
Prime Day is a great time to pick up older models at deep discounts. The Sonos Beam Gen 2 is a great example, having coming out originally in 2021. It's since been supplanted by the Sonos Beam Ultra, but that model is hundreds of dollars more (even while on sale!), and the Sonos Beam Gen 2 has never been cheaper. Our own audio expert, Harry Rabinowitz, used this model in his own home as his primary soundbar and found it to be a particularly good fit for smaller homes.
Speaking of deals on older models, if you've always fancied one of those picture-style TVs, this 2025 Samsung model has a matte finish to make paintings and photos look more real, for when you're not using it as a TV. The magnetic bezels are customizable, and some folks love the look. To be honest, these aren't best TVs, sadly, Amazon doesn't have any Prime Day deals on them.
Available in dazzling hibiscus, the Google Pixel 11 stands out, and also happens to be the best option in Google’s new lineup for most people. It boasts an excellent camera, long battery life, and decent performance, alongside Qi2 25W support for magnetic charging and accessories, and super slick contextual AI features.
The Samsung S26 Ultra was the pick of the bunch this year, with a cool privacy screen, blazing performance, long battery life, and an excellent camera, but all three of Samsung’s S26 phones are on sale right now. These are the lowest prices they’ve been so far.
The Moto G Stylus is our pick of the best cheap phones under $400, and is is as low as it has ever been right now. If you miss a headphone jack and microSD card slot, this could be a winner. This is the 2025 model, but Motorola increased the price by $100 for the 2026 Moto G Stylus, and, apart from the upgraded active stylus, there’s little to justify the extra cost.
This is a solid smartwatch, and an especially great choice if you have a Samsung Galaxy phone. You can save yourself a significant sum by opting for last year’s model and Samsung’s Galaxy Watch9 is only a modest upgrade over the Watch8, considering it’s $120 more expensive.
Anyone with a trio of Apple gadgets (iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods) will benefit from snagging one of the best Apple 3-in-1 wireless chargers for their nightstand, and this is my top pick. The wide base keeps it steady, enabling you to remove your iPhone from the magnetic wireless charging pad one-handed, the Watch pad lets any strap dangle, and the base has a spot for AirPods, too.
This power bank does it all. I love the translucent design, offering a peek at the electronic innards. It has a handy display with comprehensive stats, and it supports just about every fast charging protocol going. It packs 24,000 mAh of power and can charge at up to 140 watts, so it will juice up anything from a laptop down. It’s even IP66 rated for water and dust resistance.
Want a hard-wearing, fast charging cable to keep your gadgetry juiced? This Anker cable from the best USB-C cables is our pick. It can deliver 240 watts, has a tough, braided nylon exterior made from 100 percent recycled plastic, and comes with a lifetime warranty. Anker promises this cable will last a century and it can operate in temperatures from -40 degrees to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. The ribbed cuffs make it easy to grip, and it’s USB-IF certified, too.
The M5 MacBook Air got a serious price hike at the end of June, bringing it up to $1,299. But this week, everyone’s favorite laptop dropped to $1,099, which is the lowest price it’s been at in months. It comes with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, so you’re getting a really solid configuration that should last you many years. The 15-inch model is also $200 off if you need a larger screen to work on. Regardless, this is the best laptop can buy at the price price I’ve seen it at in a while.
Interesting in dipping your toe in the world of local, agentic AI? I know that will sound cringey to some—and trust me, I get it. But there's no denying the increasing interest in using the Mac Mini for just that, and the latest M6 is particularly good at it, as I learned in my own testing. Of course, the M6 Mac Mini has a broader appeal too, and it's great to see it on sale so soon after launching. If you need even more performance for your AI curiosity, you'll need the Mac Studio, which also received its first discount since launching, coming in at $150 under its retail price.
Gaming laptops have gotten far too expensive recently, so I was delighted to see that one of my favorite gaming laptops to recommend has a huge sale. The price on this has fluctuated wildly over the past few months, but never has it dropped to just $1,100. This is the model that comes with the entry-level RTX 5050, but it has a better display than every other gaming laptop in this price range. Also consider the RTX 5060 model for $1,499 at Walmart, which really takes performance to the next level.
If you don’t want another subscription in your life, the Asus ZenWiFi BT10 is the best mesh system for you. You get three bands of stable Wi-Fi 7 coverage for your home. A two-pack will cover most properties (up to 6,000 square feet), there are two high-speed 10 Gbps ports (alongside a Gigabit LAN and USB 3.0), and security software, parental controls, and extras like VPN support are included. Clip the coupon for the lowest price here.
You won't find a better cheap monitor than this. That's always true of the Dell 27 Plus S2725HSM, but it's especially true at $130, which is the cheapest I've ever seen it at. It's just a basic 1920 x 1080 resolution, but the fully adjustable stand and great image quality gives this a major step up over every comparable monitor I've seen. If you've got some more cash to spend, I'd also recommend the upgraded 4K model, which is also on sale at a new low price.
A tidy, affordable pair of PC speakers, Edifier’s M60 is a bargain at its usual price, so this discount is not to be sniffed at. These speakers produce a surprisingly rich, clear sound that persists when you crank the volume, and there’s a thump of bass. They also come with angled stands, and connect via USB-C, 3.5 mm, or Bluetooth 5.3.
The best iPad for most people, if you don’t already have the iPad (11th-generation, A16), now is the time to buy. The 11-inch screen is perfect for kicking back on the couch with a book, game, or movie. It has a pair of 12-megapixel cameras, and Touch ID in the power button. It’s also handy for keeping the kids amused.
Fancy an e-reader that can also serve as a digital notebook? Amazon’s third-generation Kindle Scribe has you covered. It’s slim, with an 11-inch screen, smart stylus, and a bunch of AI features. It’s a go-to choice for note-takers and students. While we recommend the older model in our best Kindles guide, that’s mainly due to the lower price, and this is a better option when it’s on sale. Such as right now.
If you’re looking for an easy security system and you don’t mind paying a pricey subscription ($10 per month or $96 a year for a single camera, $20 per month or $216 a year for unlimited cameras), Arlo is the way to go. This outdoor camera captures 2K video, has a 160-degree field of view, two-way audio, and direct Wi-Fi connection. It’s the best of the best outdoor security cameras. The Arlo app is fast, with rich notifications and two-factor authentication, so you can log in with your fingerprint or face, phone permitting.
If you can't stomach another subscription, this is the best subscription-free camera for most people, and this is a decent discount. It combines a triple-lens setup with a 4K fixed main lens that has a 130-degree field of view, and dual 2K lenses that pan through 360 degrees and tilt through 70 degrees. There's also a 10,000-mAh battery with a solar panel, onboard AI, and 32 GB of storage.
Combining a white noise machine, sunrise alarm light, and clock into a single device designed to help lull you to sleep and wake you gently, Hatch’s third generation Restore is an all-in-one way to establish a healthy sleep routine. It also enables you to leave your phone outside the bedroom. It’s annoying that you need a subscription to unlock all the content, but if it helps you get a better night’s sleep, it’s worth it.
Skylight (With One Free Month of Plus Plan)
If you like to stay organized, this 27-inch smart calendar could be for you. You can sync calendars, organize your meal plans, create to-do lists, and see your family’s day-to-day laid out in a clear format. Smart calendars might not be worth it for everyone, and some features require a subscription (digital photo frame functionality, smart assistant, rewards), but this is a decent discount on the biggest model.
The Philips Hue Festavia are the best smart Christmas lights and the only string you'll ever need to buy. This 65-foot length is suitable for an indoor or outdoor tree (the lights are IP54 rated) and has 250 tiny LEDs. Pick your preferred color, trigger animated twinkly effects, or tune white to find your ideal color temperature. Cozy and classy, these smart string lights can be scheduled with different colors or effects for different times of day, paired with other Hue lights, or synced with music.
