The executive traded 17,308 shares for a total value of ~$2.8 million at $160.11 per share.

The transaction size represented 5% of the total indirect stake held before the filing.

The executive realized liquidity through an option exercise and same-day sale while maintaining a static total holding of ~343,000 shares.

Steve Ladd Huffman, Chief Executive Officer of Reddit, Inc. (NYSE:RDDT), sold 17,308 shares of Class A Common Stock on September 15, 2026, as disclosed in a recent SEC Form 4 filing.

Transaction value based on SEC Form 4 weighted average sale price ($160.11); post-transaction value based on September 15, 2026 market close ($159.63).

Reddit maintains a substantial scale with $2.8 billion in TTM revenue with net income of $871.1 million, reflecting strong operational profitability. The platform's competitive advantage derives from its unique community-driven architecture and the authentic, unfiltered nature of user-generated discussions, which create valuable datasets for both advertisers and enterprise customers. Reddit benefits from monetizing its highly engaged user communities through diversified revenue streams.

CEO Steve Huffman's September 15 sale of Reddit stock occurred after the share price had fallen 39% over the past 12 months through his transaction date. However, his disposition was a non-discretionary transaction executed as part of a pre-established Rule 10b5-1 plan. Such plans allow insiders to sell shares at predetermined times to avoid concerns of trading on non-public information.

Post-sale, Huffman retained a sizable equity stake, including more than one million stock options. This ensures his continued alignment with shareholder interests.

Although Reddit shares have declined over the past year, the company is doing well. In the second quarter, Reddit achieved $804.9 million in Q2 sales, which represents the eighth consecutive quarter of more than 60% year-over-year revenue growth. This massive increase was due to daily active users rising 18% year over year to 130.3 million. More users means more advertising can be put in front of those people.
